N.V. Nalivayko has been six times winner of the competition for the best scientific book from the Foundation for Development of National Education, was awarded six times the Grand Gold Medal and four times, the Small Gold Medal of the Siberian Fair, was awarded the Badge of Honor of the Russian Academy of Sciences, by the "Silver sigma" Badge of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and such medals as "For the work for the benefit of the city", "For the contribution to the development of the Novosibirsk region", "For strengthening the authority of the Russian science", was awarded diplomas and prizes for the effective scientific and educational activity. She is a UNESCO Professor and a Corresponding Member of the International Academy of Information Processes and Technology. Being a senior research scientist at the Institute of Philosophy and Law of the SB of RAS, N.V. Nalivayko has established the Research Institute of Philosophy of Education on the basis of the Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University, as well as the Scientific Center of sociology and philosophy of education on the basis of the Institute of Philosophy and Law of the SB of RAS and the Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University. She has created and is managing two civil society organizations: the City civil society organization "Novosibirsk Philosophical Society" and the Siberian Association of Philosophy of Education.
The direction of the scientific research of Nalivayko N.V. is "The philosophy of education: problems of formation and the essence of the concept." The work has been carried out since 1995 and is proceeding in the following areas: the current trends of integration of science and education, global and regional aspects of the modern education system; innovative education as a philosophical problem; pedagogy of non-violence as a philosophical problem, philosophical foundation of the modern theory of education, its value-related orientation in the context of globalization; philosophical understanding of the specifics of the state policy in the field of education and the education space safety, especially the development of educational space in the information society and so on. The foundation of the study is the methodological function of philosophy in educational theory with the priority of the problems of epistemology, ontology, axiology, praxeology of the philosophy of education. The research conducted in this area has been presented in a series of works ( monographs, textbooks - 46 volumes), published in the All-Russian journals "Philosophy of Education " (49 issues) and "Professional education in the modern world" (9 issues) (both journals are included in the list of the leading reviewed scientific editions and journals that are recommended by the State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles (VAK) for publication of basic scientific results of the Candidate of Science and Doctor of Science dissertations), which have become a discussion platform for domestic and foreign authors on various issues and aspects of philosophy of education. Doctor of Philosophical Sciences, Professor, a Corresponding Member of the International Academy of Information Processes and Technology, a UNESCO Professor Nina Vasil’evna Nalivayko is the director of the Science and Education Center of Philosophy and Sociology of Education and Science (Institute of Philosophy and Law of the SB of RAS and the Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University, on the basis of the agreement of January 14, 2010 between the Institute of Philosophy and Law, Russian Academy of Sciences and the Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University), where the ideas of integration of science and education are being practically implemented.
The Academic Council of the Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University (protocol no. 3 of October 26, 2011 ) made a decision to create the scientific school "Philosophy of Education" under the guidance of N.V. Nalivayko to study one of the most pressing direction of social philosophy, "Philosophy of education: problems of formation and the essence of the concept". Today the members of the school are investigating such issues as the global and regional aspects of the development of modern system of education (Doctor of Philosophical Sciences V.I. Parshikov), the philosophical foundation of the modern theory of upbringing (Candidate of Philosophical Sciences T.S. Kosenko), the modern trends of integration of science and education, innovative education as a philosophical problem (Candidate of Philosophical Sciences V.V.Petrov), philosophical understanding of the specifics of the state policy in the field of education and safety of the education space (Candidate of Philosophical Sciences S. V. Kamashev, A. V. Pugachyov ), the value-related orientations of the globalizing world in the context of the problems of philosophy of education (A. V. Nalivayko), the issues of educational space in the conditions of informatization of the society (Candidate of Philosophical Sciences S. I. Chernykh ), and others.

- An agreement with the Federal Government educational institution of additional professional education "Novosibirsk Regional Institute of training and retraining of the managers and specialists of agriculture" (signed January 18, 2006 )
Under the supervision of N. V. Nalivayko there have been defended 5 Doctor and 9 Candidate dissertations, there is working a continuous seminar "The current development trends in innovative education and science in modern Russia ", there have been organized a number of scientific conferences including the All-Russian Conference (with a teleconference, in conjunction with the Chair of Philosophy of Education, Lomonosov Moscow State University) "The transformation of institutional forms of education", and others.
N.V. Nalivayko is paying much attention to international contacts: in November 26—28 2012 there were organized an international conference "Globalizing world in the understanding of philosophy of education." Two conferences were organized (with a teleconference, in collaboration with the scientists from the Ukraine (Sumy)). N.V. Nalivayko participates in the international conferences abroad (Charles University, Prague, the Czech Republic, Conference "Targeting in education, arts and sports"), publishes the journal "Philosophy of Education" in English language in cooperation with the Department of philosophy and civic education at the Charles University (6 issues), actively cooperates with the International Network of Philosophers of Education (INPE). Within the framework of international events there have been established contacts with foreign scientists in Europe, USA, Latin America and Asia in the field of philosophy of education. There have been signed the cooperation agreements: with the Kazakh Polytechnic University about the joint study of the problem "Philosophy of Education of the East and the West: the modern trends of development ", with the Faculty of Philosophy of civic education at Charles University (Prague) about carrying out the joint research and scientific-organizational work. The established contacts have made a significant contribution to the theoretical work of the scientific school and have been presented in the scientific publishing. In 2013, a promising direction and important event was a webinar (continuous All-Russian remote seminar), held in conjunction with the Institute for the Theory and History of Pedagogy of the Russian Academy of Education (Moscow) under the leadership of Academician Yakov Semenovich Turbovskoy with the participation of leading experts in the field of modern philosophy of education. The work in the framework of the weminar is presented on the pages of the "Philosophy of education" journal.
